A Public Service Announcement

Gotta send a shout-out to Sarge ~ Hi Sarge! Thanks for reminding Mommy that she has pictures to post of the Baltimore Oriole and then some.

So in honor of the first day of summer, hope you enjoy....

Remember to enjoy your summer responsibly ~ Don't drink and drive!

There is too much beauty in the world and we wouldn't want you to miss a moment of it...

Hugs,
Lily Belle

    1. Mommy can be such a blond sometimes (even tho she's a brunette). She had to look up to see who Cal Ripken was!

  2. OMD OMD... Lily Belle just last weekend a Mr. & Mrs. B. Oriole were in MY yard... butt I think they were just passin through. YOURS are soooooo beautiful. You got gorgeous pics of Yours. I love those Jelly Jar feeders. I had never seen one until Sarge got HIS this spring. He has my mom's home made GRAPE Jelly in his. Is that what YOU use? Well, not my Mom's home made of course... butt Grape jelly?
I wish they would STAY here on my hill. You are lucky to have them.

    1. Yes Frankie, we do use grape jelly. But no, we don't use the homemade stuff, we save that for the hoomans. We agree, we love the Oriole's too.

  4. All beautiful pictures (especially the last one). We often have Orioles in our yard too, but they just eat the natural fruit. I don't really have a good place to hang a jelly feeder. We also saw our fawn and her mom yesterday. If it weren't for Nina telling us they were out front we would have missed them.

I love seeing nature in our own yard.

    1. Hi sweet Pia,
Bambi(s) live in our back yard. Yup, we gots 2 of them back there with their family. They are already use to Muffin and I barking at them all the time so they stick around and eat all of Mommy's nice plants and flowers. Oh... did I mention they also eat right outta the bird feeders? They sure are smart.
