Ahh ~ The life of a Dachshund! And a little bit more....
You know.... I always thought Cal Ripken was taller.... Shelle, Milo, Dixie and Newby,http://simpaticodreams.blogspot.com/
Mommy can be such a blond sometimes (even tho she's a brunette). She had to look up to see who Cal Ripken was!
OMD OMD... Lily Belle just last weekend a Mr. & Mrs. B. Oriole were in MY yard... butt I think they were just passin through. YOURS are soooooo beautiful. You got gorgeous pics of Yours. I love those Jelly Jar feeders. I had never seen one until Sarge got HIS this spring. He has my mom's home made GRAPE Jelly in his. Is that what YOU use? Well, not my Mom's home made of course... butt Grape jelly? I wish they would STAY here on my hill. You are lucky to have them.
Yes Frankie, we do use grape jelly. But no, we don't use the homemade stuff, we save that for the hoomans. We agree, we love the Oriole's too.
Such beautiful photos! Perfect for today!
All beautiful pictures (especially the last one). We often have Orioles in our yard too, but they just eat the natural fruit. I don't really have a good place to hang a jelly feeder. We also saw our fawn and her mom yesterday. If it weren't for Nina telling us they were out front we would have missed them.I love seeing nature in our own yard.Cindy
Hi neighbor Cindy.... We hope to be enjoying the nature in YOUR backyard real soon too. Mommy's gonna contact you soon about out get-together.

Good eye Puddles. You noticed the ol'e Tupperware back there. Unfortunately the squirrels love it too and have not only been munching on the grape jelly, they been munching on the plastic too. Mommy said she hopes it gives them a belly achers!

Hi sweet Pia,Bambi(s) live in our back yard. Yup, we gots 2 of them back there with their family.
