Writing this SUCKED!


Robert W. Hagen, Sr.

November 11, 1924 - July 13, 2015                   

Robert ‘Bob’ Hagen at 90 years old, passed away peacefully Monday morning July 13th. Predeceased by beloved wife Helen of 59 years, and his sister, Marcia Jane Hagen. Survived by his son, Robert W. Hagen, Jr. (Cindy Lee) and daughter Kimberly H. Paschedag (Rolf); grandchildren, Robert W. Hagen III and Colleen R. Hagen; much loved doxie’s Lily & Muffin and brother Dean Hagen (Irene).

After graduating from RPI in Troy, NY he went to proudly serve in the US Navy during WWII. Bob worked his entire 40 year career at Graham Corp. (Batavia, NY.) He was an avid golfer & card player at his home in Grenelefe (FL) & at Monroe Golf Club. A great husband, father & friend who will be missed tremendously.

  8. I can only imagine how hard this was to write. I helped write my mother's obituary, and there's nothing harder. I love your quote, and I've been thinking of you, even through our crisis. I know how you took incredible care of your dad for so many years. The love between you and him is obvious to all of us. I am sending sympathy and hugs.

  12. It's a beautiful memorial, Kim. You did a loving and wonderful job. I love love love that the doxies are in it. When I wrote my mom's obit, I thought the same thing. So hard. Bless you. Sending much love.

  13. You know mom had a funny feeling she shouldn't have written that other comment before catching up more. Which means we are horribly sorry for your loss. It must be so hard on your poor mom, she took such wonderful care of him. My grandma died last November so we understand how hard this must be, please accept our sincere condolences.
