We're sending up the red flag and waiving it high right now....
The POTP is needed over at the Dachsies with Moxie.
Their newest foster, a sweet little girl named Honey had to have emergency surgery this evening.
She was spayed roughly 2 weeks ago and everything healed very nicely, but she still had a little bleeding problem. I know that WHN took her at least once back to the Vet to find out why. Nothing was found and they sent them home.
Today they found some of her "female parts" (we'll spare you the details) were infected and they also found some type of a lump.
They are keeping Honey over night on antibiotics.
Please, please, please send WHN & Honey over at the Dachsies with Moxie some PRAYERS and some Blogville LOVE.

Dear friends,
ReplyDeletePrissy came home last night and is much better. The mass started dissolving on it's own and when Dr Briles took the second set of X-rays Tuesday morning it had shrunk quitea bit & was totally gone by Wednesday evening. He kept her until last night, off the IVs', to see if she would start vomiting again. Because it was pressing against her liver and pancreas and looks so dark on the X-rays he thought it could be cancer. Thank God it wasn't.
He now thinks all the vomiting was due from "poop" or an infection. She was on IV fluids for 4 days, non stop, and whatever it was got flushed away.
She is on 2 medications, one for vomiting and one antibiotic. If she starts vomiting again, she needs to go
back again and have a barium x-ray which he was planning on doing but cancelled when the mass started getting smaller. The last set of X-rays showed nothing.
Thanks so much for the your the prayers.
I spook to Ms Agnes today and Honey is much better.
God bless.......The Mommy, Sarah
PS.........I took off today to be home with the girls and Clyde. I took lots of videos and you'd
never be able to tell something had been wrong. I hope to do a Smilebox later today.
Hi guys! I swung by to check on you - I had not seen any new posts in my reader from you so I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Hope you guys are doing ok!
