The Vet called this morning to check in on her. As long as she is eating ALL canned food (which has a higher water content) she is not concerned about dehydration. All the Vet's at the practice have been made aware of Lily's condition, so should another emergency arise, they are already up to speed. I think that's totally awesome!
Her temperature is back to normal. Thank goodness for our new 8 second read thermometer. Her eyes are still quite red, but we continue on 4 times a day with the eye drops. They said it's because she had such a high fever.
Back to her favorite spot by the garden window
Lily wanted to sit with us last night outside which was a good sign.
Then she had a little play session with her Daddy. All of our friends prayers are working! For that we thank you!!
She enjoyed some outdoor time this morning with us. She even wagged her tail at her favorite Landscaper Marty.
We're going to be laying low for a few days so that we can sit and give Lily all the loving she needs to heal.
Muffin goes in early tomorrow morning for her teeth cleaning and tooth pulling. She has a tooth that is broken in half that needs to come out. She's going to require many snuggles and kisses after it's over tomorrow afternoon. I'm not too sure the Tooth Fairy will show up because "she's" been a little busy these days. But I'm quite sure the Tooth Fairy will make it up to her in the very near future.
Today Rolf and I are going out searching for the money tree. Ha!
We've got all the love in the world to give these two little girls and they deserve EVERY ounce of it too.
So..... if you don't see us around for a bit please don't panic. I will try and get in a Muffin update after her surgery.
We love you all. Thank you for all the suggestions on how to keep Lily hydrated and for all your love and prayers.
