Our Fallen Brother's

Another senseless tragedy has happened again. This time it has hit way too close to home.

On Christmas Eve morning a deranged man set fire to his house in Webster, NY. Webster is a suburb of Rochester which is where we live. Perhaps you've read about this on the internet or even seen it on the news.

When the fire department arrived, this man opened fire and killed two fire fighters and wounded others. He then took the cowards way out and took his own life. That's right, I personally think he's a COWARD! On the other hand, it's a cold and harsh reality when I say this... At least I don't have to pay to keep him in prison (again) and give him HBO and 3 square meals a day with my hard earned money.

These fallen fire fighters are my brothers! I have spent many a day fighting fires with members from this department and I take this personally!

The Final Bell has rung for Mike Chiapperini and Tomasz Kaczowka.

May you forever rest in the arms of Jesus.

With a heavy heart,

  1. We saw this last night on the news and agree with you 100%

  2. We heard about this too. What is happening in our world today.....a world that was given to us to call our home. I'm sure this is NOT the way it was meant to be.

  3. It has been a very somber time around here and for me has really put a damper on the holidays. It has been almost the entire news cast for the past couple of days. I agree that at least he is gone and can't do this again, but 7 families lost their homes, 2 lost family members and 2 more have a long recovery in the hospital. I'm trying to see the good around here today and do my best to honor the fallen.

    Much love,

  4. We saw this on the news today and were so saddened. Firefighters are the last true heroes left that no one has a bad word for. I can't believe someone would lay a trap for them like this. We're all so sorry for their families and friends. :(

  5. We thought of you INSTANTLY when we heard that Horrible Story. SO SAD... So ... INSANE.
WHY was that horrible man OUT ???? Three INNOCENT lives lost... and ONE More Maniac... Eliminated.

  6. We are so sorry Kim, that this has happened. We don't know what is going on in the world, but we know we care much about all of our families here on blogspot and when they are hurting so are we.
Sending you a big hug and many prayers for the families!

  8. We read this even over here. We just pray for their souls and their peeps. Tragic. As for the creep who did this..... for once I will express my thoughts,,,, rot in hell . God bless Mike & Tomasz and we hope those that survive make a full recovery. Such cruelty to those who risk their lives everyday for us.
    Best wishes Molly

  10. I just can't make scene of all this. My prayers are with the families and friends.

  11. Kim we are so very sorry about your friends. We heard about this on the news.

  13. Do not know why people do so many mean things. I would like to think that they are sick and just do not know any better; but then again they just may be evil. My thoughts are with their families. May you and your family have a blessed New Year.

  14. This Christmas has been especially hard with these great tragedies. Our hearts and prayers are with the families. My nephews are firefighters... :-( So much evil in this world. So sad.

Lily Belle & Muffin would love to hear from you!
