The Perfect Storm

Hi Everyone,

Well, the "Perfect Storm" was REALLY the Perfect Storm!

Big Ol'e scary Frankenstorm turned out to be a Frankenweenie at our house. Yes we had high, high winds. No we did not lose any trees. Yes we had a load of rain. No, we didn't get flooded. We are one of the lucky ones! We had some flashing lights for awhile but never lost power. Our trees however are naked now. Not one leaf left.

We feel bad for those surrounding us who were struck hard. We pray for all those who were and are still effected by the weather.

Now we're hoping that by next Monday we'll hit good weather for the entire ride to Florida.

Thanks for everyones care and concern!

Hugs,
Lily Belle

p.s. I think Muffin and I are FINALLY back to ourselves once again. My spots and lumpie bumpies are going away and Muffin's stomach ain't hurlin' anymore. We just HAD to get healthy so we can bark at the door ringers tomorrow night.

Happy Halloween everyone!

  16. I am happy that as is well. You would think Ohio, where I live, would be safe from hurricanes. Ike took down my neighbors tree which took out my side fence. Sandy took down a tree in the woods at the back of my property and down went the chain link fence across the back. Lee figures one more hurricane and we will have a whole new fence.
Thanks for stopping by my blog tonight
