Please take a moment to remember all of those who lost their lives on September 11th, 2001.
We will, we absolutely will. That photo of the fireman running up and everyone is going down gets me every time.

Because it was such stunningly beautiful day on September 11th, the arrival of fall for me will always be bittersweet (as I think it is for every New Yorker) because the weather always brings me back to that day. We should also never forget all of the 4 legged heroes who bravely and fearlessly searched that colossal pile of debris for survivors and remains.
