Update on Daddy

Daddy had his stress test this morning ~ bright and early. We thought he was gonna have to run like a gerbil in a wheel but that didn't happen. They did the chemical stress test instead. That's where they give you medicine that makes your heart race.

The Cardiologist said that they saw something on the test. There appears to be something at the bottom of his heart. It is possible that because Daddy is a big boy, that it could be nothing (sometimes with bigger people, this happens). But on the other hand, it could be a blockage. So tomorrow sometime, they are going to take Daddy to the Cath Lab and run some wires up into his heart to see if there is a blockage. If there is, they will try to repair it while he is in there. We're REALLY hoping and praying really hard that it turns out to be nothing.

Because they Cath Lab is totally full tomorrow, they will squeeze Daddy in somewhere along the way. So Mommy will go up early in the morning and hold Daddy's paw hand until they take him in for the procedure. I have a feeling it is going to be a long, long day for the both of them.

Daddy is in good spirits and said hospital food sucks! Of course they have him on the cardiac diet which is no salt. Think Muffin and I should try and sneak him in a burger and fries? I know he would love that!

Mommy is hanging in there the best that she can. She has to keep running back and forth because Muffin and I are both on medicine and she has to get us better also.

Mommy will do her best to keep all of us updated tomorrow.
