Lazy Sunday

I'm kind of having a lazy afternoon around here and really... Isn't that what a dog's supposed to do? Mommy is catching up on the laundry and making spaghetti sauce, Daddy is watching all these men on TV running around like a bunch of nincompoop's and jumping all over each other. I think Grandpa is watching the same thing too but I'm not too sure as he is on the other side of the house. I was kind of hoping that they would turn on Animal Planet for me. But nah..... I think Muffin is still in hiding and hasn't recovered yet from the antler event.

Mommy just said those men are really not nincompoop's as they all make like a gazillion dollars jumping around and slapping each other on the hiney. Why would you want to slap a hiney when you can smell one instead! Guess I'll never understand.

Muffin and I got to go for a short ride today to Daddy's work place. We were hoping the ride would last longer but it didn't. It was a pretty morning here, nice and warm (63) so I got to stick my nose out the window while Daddy drove really fast. That always makes my ears flop in the breeze. Wheeeeeeeee.......

Those damn antlers are still hanging around here and are really creeping me out. We need to get rid of them but I sure hope that the deer in our backyard don't try to come into the house to take them back. Those deer are really huge, much bigger than me and knowing Muffin, she would run and hide and not help me fend them off. She's what I call a chicken Sh*t with a capitol S!

Don't worry Muffin, I just went out on deer patrol and checked the yard ~ I'm giving the all clear signal at the moment.
