Surgery went extremely well & the surgeon was pleased. He took a wide margin of the eyelid out & is sending that to the lab to see if all the cancer is out. Of course our fingers are crossed for good news. #cancersucks
We have eye drops 3 times a day for 2 weeks. We also have the "Cone of fame" for 2 weeks. Lily is already protesting the cone. It's extra long so there is NO chance to rub her eye on anything. Pain meds tonight & tomorrow if needed.
Muffin is such a woosie. She's afraid of Lily's cone & has hid under the bed. Hiding there is her safe place.
Lily is laying right now next to her Daddy taking a little nap. It's been a stressful day all around.
Your love & prayers have really helped us through this horrible ordeal. We still have a ways to go but as I've said before, we are strong! We feel each & everyone of you right by our side fighting this battle with us. We ARE blessed!

We have our paws crossed for a good biopsy result and for quick healing. Poor Muffin is going to be a basket case if you have to wear that cone for 2 weeks.
