NOT Funny!




This is sooooooo NOT funny Florida! Even the water in our birdbaths are frozen.

Mommy covered up as many plants as she could last night with sheets but sometimes even that doesn't help. We will check out the damage later when it's warmer to go outside.


We just turned up the heat inside the house. Geezzzzzz Louise, it's 62 in here.

There will be NO swimming today! We are officially declaring the pool closed.

Who said that Florida was all sunshine and lollipops?

    You are lucky the pool is just CLOSED.... Up HERE it would be FROZEN Solid.... WE had -15°F actual temp... and -25 Wind chill when we got up...
    We are thinking that spring will NEVER EVER come...
    TRY to stay WARM... Cuddle up with Grandpa Bob... That would be good...

    We feel for you. Frozen isn't fun. The other morning Dad went to walk me but with the .30 wind chills I did my business and no walk for me!

    I'll stay in on the futon in Mom's office where there's a little heater to make the room in this old house extra toasty.

    Oh dears!!!! That is cold!!! You guys can come stay here til it warms up..it's 68 today! And sunny! Come on overs and I'll break out the margaritas!! (okay, so they were already out...BOL!!!)

    Ahem....excuse us...but we just wanted to let you know that right now at 11pm it is -14 degrees outside!!!! You think you are worried about your plants? Our daddy just keeps mumbling about all the plants that won't bloom or even come up in our yard after this miserable winter. We would be happy to have your 27 degrees. You know we love you but you will get no pity from us.

    Yeah!!! I agree with Millie and Walter!!! We were at minus EIGHTEEN last night!!! 27 would be like a heat wave!! Actually TODAY seemed like a heat wave! It was 22! When I heard Channel 13 say the average temp right now should be 37...I'm thinking we probably won't see that until June! Seriously, I hope it warms up for you!

    Howdy Mates, we hope your weather warms up. We're hoping ours will cool down (yesterday was 40C, 104F) but are NOT looking forward to winter. You can all snuggle inside together. That's always good.
