Big Package Delivery

The day before yesterday, Mommy had a very important Christmas task to take care of. She personally had to deliver a really big present to her brother in New York.

She flew (well, actually she didn't spread her wings, she left that up to Southwest.)

She delivered Grandpa Bob back home for the Holiday's!

Grandpa Bob took this of Mommy on the airplane.

Grandpa Bob will spend 2 weeks with his Son and his family. (Mommy & Daddy get their once a year break!)

While Mommy was only there for 14 hours, she was put to work wrapping packages and decorating cookies.

These are the Santa cookies that Grandma used to make. Mommy said that making these bring back so many fond memories from childhoods passed. We are thankful that Aunt Cindy carried on our Grandma's tradition.

While Mommy was there, she got to meet the newest additions to the family.
Meet Tipsy & Bella. Mommy calls them tiny terrors because they kept Mommy awake all night long. Tipsy was born with a little brain problem and walks sideways and sometimes falls over (just like Grandpa Bob!) They are sisters from the same litter and are about 4 months old.
Tipsy is really adorable and Mommy was trying to make friends with her. After spending 1 night with them Mommy said they are no longer friends. They ran around her room all night long, played in the toilet of the bathroom that Mommy had to use. No one told Mommy that they like to play in toilets! The toilet seat at 4 in the morning was soaking wet and so was the bathroom carpet. They chased each other up and down the staircase all night long and make more noise than a herd of elephants and kept pouncing on Mommy's head while in bed. Mommy got very little sleep. She's not used to being around kitties. Even Aunt Cindy was less than pleased with their behavior. We know that when Mommy meets them again she will kiss and make up with Tispy and Bella because Mommy loves ALL animals.

Come on! How could you NOT love this little girl.

And before you knew it, Mommy was back on the plane the next morning and on her way back home to all of us. We are thankful for Southwest for getting her there and back safely.

She was only away from us for 1 day but it seemed like a lifetime.

Ho, ho, ho, time to go folks, Mommy has a lot to do today to get ready for our Christmas here. Time to start making Sticky Buns!

Hope you have a pawsome Sunday.

Hugs,
Lily Belle

  17. This is such a great blog for us dog lovers out there. I have often though to writing a blog about my pets for sometime now, but I have never thought to make it from their perspective. It is a clever way to inject their personalities into the blog. I also like how you relay your life through your blog.
