Mommy has been chatting with WHN via e-mail this evening. Surgery has been avoided thanks to modern medicine! She seems in fairly good spirits. We all know that Mr. Geoff is a wreck and so is the Dachsies with Moxie pack. They don't understand where WHN disappeared to.
She had a clear liquid lunch which was tolerated well, so they gave her some hospital food for dinner. We know that can't be too tasty but she was thrilled that she got to eat it with no pain afterwards.
Personally I, Lily Belle, think that she just needed her anal glands cleaned out. They were going to insert an NG tube (you know, up your nose with a rubber hose) but WHN "was having NONE of that!" Xrays were taken and the blockage is gone.
We're praying that she will be able to get home real soon. In the meantime, please continue to keep her in your good thoughts and prayers. She (and we) really appreciate it!
Hugs,
Lily Belle

Good morning furends,
We received an e-mail very early this morning from WHN (aka Agnes) over at The Dachsies with Moxie. WHN has a bowel obstruction that came on suddenly and is being hospitalized. Most likely surgery will be required.
We need all of you to gather around blogville and start sending her the POTP for a real quick recovery. We know how worried Mr. Geoff and the DWM Crew must be right now. They are all still in shock from the news.
WHN is concerned that her Christmas greetings to everyone will be late. She promises to get them out once she is home and recovering. (Bless her pea picking little heart to be worrying about all of this.)
We love you WHN and are saying our prayers right now!
We will keep you posted should we receive any updates from them.
Hugs,
Lily Belle & Muffin
