Tiny Dancers

The other night, we had pouring rain.

     Then came the artic cold.

          Then came the snow.

Now we have a skating rink on our deck.

This is what we woke up to this morning:

A whole whopping 20 degrees outside. Muffin and I decided to make the deck our potty area. We were not even gonna attempt to go down the slippery stairs. Mommy calls us her Tiny Dancers because we slip and slide all over the deck.

While we didn't get a lot of snow yesterday, we sure got a lot of ice out there.

I, Lily Belle, think this is the best course of action one can take with the weather this bad...

Stay safely inside snuggled up with Daddy. (He's having his morning coffee in this picture so he didn't light the fireplace yet.)

Keep warm furends!

Hugs,
Lily Belle & Muffin

  1. You got the bestest idea there, we had 22 this morning, but all we had was a light frost, so we ran around barking and leaving tracks in the grass!

  9. Did you girls know it was actually a record low of 17 last night? No wonder you can't wait to get to Florida. We on the other hand can't wait for the snow to be over your heads!

  11. OMD OMD ICE is the WORST... It scares the POOPS outta US... You were WISE to just use the deck fur your potty... We had a Little Ice and a bit More snow than you did. We did NOT like it one bit. Way too early to be this COLD and Snowy.. We bet you are getting really excited about going to Florida now. Stay SAFE...

  14. I agree with you, stay inside and snuggle. We had some of that too and it makes my paws hurt and then I cry.

  15. Almost time to light up the fireplace! Can't believe how cold it is already and it's not even Thanksgiving. I know you'll take appropriate measures and burrow into the blankets!!
