Lily....shouldn't you be guarding your family from trespassers? Or were you napping? :)
ReplyDeleteYou guys are missing all the excitement of Tropical Storm Andrea! The Weather Radio woke us up at 5:30 this morning with a tornado warning for the northern part of Polk County. Glad we don't live in north Polk County. I just turned over and went back to sleep. Right now it's raining Cats and Dogs!
Hi Lily Belle & Muffin!!
ReplyDeleteOur bird feeders are emptied by the pesky squirrels...although our kitty Miss Luna Lovegood has been scaring them (the squirrels mainly) by climbing the tree where the feeders are and running them off. Wesa like the bark is worse than our bite approach with the squirrels.
Much Luvums,
The Slimmer Puggums

Wow... those are some bold deer!!!! We don't have any deer, in fact our mom has been very jealous of your deer sightings... but we are pretty sure our birds wouldn't like the deer if they did that kinda stuff around our house.
ReplyDeleteThank you for remembering Newby. :) He loves you very much!
Shelle, Milo, Dixie and Newby,

Hi Girls glad to see you are back home and doing well. I bet the weather is really nice in New York today. Mom took me to the Vet this morning and found out that I have a mild case of pancreatitis . She asked to go in late to work to stay home and be with me this morning and afternoon . I will be up and around in a few days. Hard to keep a tough little doxie dude down. lol Herbie
ReplyDeleteNow what are you feeding the birds??!!! Never saw a deer go after bird seed before.

hello Lily and Muffin! We are Reina and Suarez! Good to meet fellow dachies! Our bird feeder are always empty and we just assume its the birds... Maybe I should have a cam to capture who ate the bird seeds!
ReplyDeleteOMD(eer) that is one cute critter. I did not know they would eat birdseed. We had deer in our hood when we first moved in but it is way too urban now...or at least we thought it was until last spring we had a goat in the back yard and a fox. NO CLUE where either came from.
ReplyDeleteHugs madi your Bfff
That deer explains it all! Happy Gotcha day to your sweet Newbie!
