Muffin has her usual "welcome back to Florida" ear infection in both ears. She is miserable and it breaks my heart.
The inside of her ears are the brightest color red you can imagine. She is constantly shaking her head and doesn't stop.
I took her to the Vet's yesterday because I had no more ear drops for her in the Fridge. She is also on Benedryl. But so far, there is no relief for my little girl.
We've been cuddling with her as much as we possibly can inbetween everything going on here. Lily is keeping her distance because with all the shaking, Lily get's abused by the flying ears.
My poor (sweet) little girl.....
Hugs,
Mommy Kim
This is probably why she gets so sick. 40 degrees, seriously, this IS Florida!

Awwww Muffin you are in our prayers. Get better quickly sweet thing. I have a little guy (pug mix) who is always sick from allergies...I tell him I'm going to have to make him the boy in the bubble because he gets everything! In fact we have a vet appt tomorrow...this time he has eye infections and ear infections :/ So we totally feel for you Muffin. Mama Kim that last shot of the sunrise is simply breathtaking!
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon, Muffin!
ReplyDeleteOh Muffin, we're sorry you have to endure this. I hate ear infections and I am thankful that the pack hasn't experienced any. I would be devastated if they'd have to deal with something like this.
ReplyDeleteI agree with others, that last picture is amazing.
Huggies and Cheese,
Haopee
Poor Muffin! Freddy is a constant ear shaker even if there's nothing wrong. It's how he likes to wake up in the mornings, but Mommy's always wondering if it's another ear infection. Feel better soon!!
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard when they get sick.
ReplyDeleteWe sure hope Muffin feels better soon. It is a little funny that Lily Belle has to stay away from her to avoid getting smacked in the head with her ears though.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Millie & Cindy
Poor Muffin, it must be miserable for her. We hope she is feeling better very soon!

OUCH! Paws crossed for you, Muffin! Could you be allergic to your food? When I was having food allergies I got lots of ear infections that were hard to get rid of
ReplyDeleteNola
Poor baby. We have our feets crossed you will feel better
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Poor Muffin, sounds like she must be allergic to something there? Some plant outside, a different kind of grass, maybe the water? Just searching for something. We hope she is better soon.

Hugs madi your BFFF
I am so sorry to hear little Muffin has an ear infection. Hope she is feeling much better. We have extreme temp changes where I live so mom cleans my ears once a week with a 50/50 solution of apple cider vinegar and water. It works real well in humid climates. Enjoyed your Thanksgiving pics. My grandma is 84 so my mom understands some of the events that you and your mom have going on at home. Always so nice to hear from you girls. Thanks for the update about the blog . Love you, your admiring Herbie
ReplyDeleteHere's how to change your header.
ReplyDeleteGo to layout in Blogger. It'll show you where everything on your blog goes, widgets, where you post, pages, ect. Near the top it should say the name of you blog and then header (example: mine says Dachshund Nola (header)). Click on the edit button, it'll bring up your header. Click "remove image", then click either Choose File to get a new pic from your computer or paste an image from a URL. Click save then click save arrangement at the top. Hope this helps!
Guess what? I'm 100% fine! No knee issues at all! Thank dog
Nola
Awww, no! We are so saddened to hear about that nasty ear infection. Oskar shares your pain, Sweetie.
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon!

BOL it IS on steroids! Sorry, I should have mentioned this. Okay, so go the the menu where you changed the header, and remove the image. In the pop up screen it should have a little box that says "shrink to fit (image will be shrunk to 940 pixels wide)". Click that so that a little check mark appears on that box. Then re choose your image and click save changes and save arrangement. Should fix everything! That's an adorable pic!
ReplyDeleteHe felt around on my knee and compared it to the other one, said the knee cap was in place and he couldn't move it so I do not have luxating patella (yay!!!). He said it's just the unique way I run. Also said I have serious muscle tone, BOL!
Love ya,
Nola
Yikes - that's not a very nice welcome from FL Muffin. Sure hope your ears get all better real soon!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous sunrise you saw! Wow!
Waggin at ya,
Roo
Beautiful sunrise shot. Hope Muffin's ears are all better by now. Momma understands though because she's been dealing with my medical issues lately. I'm not sick but I had a tiny lump removed from my toe, then after the stitches came out, I messed with the incision and opened it back up, then had to get stitched back up again. So momma has been hovering around me and checking my stitches every 15 minutes and making me wear the cone and worrying about me. I think it's really hard on her when something is wrong with me. I've just been sleeping a lot because I'm on "restricted activity". I just can't wait to get these stitches removed and get out romping again!
