On Patrol

There Freeda and I were, having a nice quiet Saturday out on the deck. Just lounging around and all, enjoying the light breeze in the air. Catching up on our girl talk, you know how it goes.

Hey Lily, I think I hear something. I better go investigate!

Holy Guacamole Lily, I think we're being invaded.

Danger Will Robinson, Danger, Danger... (If you look real close, in front of the lamp that the deer seems to be sniffing {butt he's really munching away on the flowers}, that tan blob is a hasenpfeffer. Oh sorry, for those who don't speak German, that means RABBIT!)

Just helping himself to Mommy's plants.

Drinking Mommy's drinks. Hey, that AIN'T no margaritta buddy! Move it along...

Sure, bring the whole dang family why don't cha!

The nerve of some deer! And they wonder why we're barkers.....

Lily Belle

  1. Wowzer that is incrediable. By the way if you need some help with the invaders just call me. As you may know my breed was bred to chase and bring down deer and elk. While I have never done this, I have only chased a few deer, but I am sure I can give it my best. And who knows maybe we can have BBQ afterwards.

  2. Amazing - those deer must have been very hungry not to take off at the sound of your barks. As for that rabbit, he wouldn't have lasted wrong around here:(

Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning

  3. Oh wow, a whole family! Very nice! Did they join in your girl talk at all? :)

  4. That is very cool (except for the plants)! What a cutie the fawn is!

  5. Holy Gwalk A Moley is RIGHT!! The NERVE of them.. I hope they left you some nice.. Recycled flowers in return.
Glad that Muffin didn't try any FANCY MOVES on them.

  6. They are kinda cute! BUTT, you guys need to put up a loud speaker when you're barking!!!

  7. OMD, they came right into your yard?! They might be the advance force of a whole deer invasion!

  8. Love, love, love it! Wait till you see our blog tomorrow (I did it before I came to visit yours)....I think we were separated at birth...LOL

  9. Intruder alert....intruder alert.....bark bark bark. Naughty naught deer eating all the flowers. Great pix. Have a brilliant Sunday.
    Best wishes Molly

  10. That is amazing - what great pictures :-) We would certainly bark at those intruders if they visited our garden - woofs and licks from Magic xx

  11. Oh wowserz! I wish I had bunnies and deer in MY backyard!! How much FUN I would have! Teehee! :)

    Woofs & huggies, <3

    ~Bailey (Yep, I'm a girl!)

  12. hey Lily Belle and Muffin,

So furry nice to meet you! Thank you so much for sniffing your way over to my blog and pawing such kind and warm woofs on healing. I know your thoughts on healing will help me and I really appreciate it, especially your POTP!! You are so very kind, thank you!

BUNNIES! I LOVE yummy bunnies! You are so furry lucky to have bunnies in your yard. And your deer family is beautiful! Great video! Love your barks!

  13. Oh, we would be barking til next week! Hate it when they eat our veggies and flowers....but it is kinda hard to stay mad for long, especially at the little fella with the spots!

    Wyatt and Stanzie

  15. Woof to you Lily Belle & Muffin!!!! I can't believe how you and Freeda kept your cool during such a colossal deer invasion. With my off the hook prey drive, I would have bolted off the deck in a nanosecond and chased that family of deer well into the next county. I guess I have a lot to learn from you about impulse control and behaving like a lady!!!! Much love to you 2 - XXOO - Mazzie (aka Uptown Girl)

Lily Belle & Muffin would love to hear from you!
