Tuesday's Adventure cont....

As most of you know, Muffin and I have been cutting way back on our treat's in order to lose some pounds before we pawticipate in the Blogville Olympics. So Mommy thought it would be a good idea to take all of us on a looonnnnngggg walkie. So right after we left the Town Hall (from our precious post) we headed over to a walking/biking trail that Mommy has passed on the road many times before. She thought it was the pawfect place for us to train.

Now, for those of you who know (and love) little Muffin, you know she absolutely HATES to walk! So I gotta tell you a little about these pictures. Right where Mommy is standing and taking this picture from, is where we parked. We just got out of the van and began our walk. Now take notice in this picture the yellow posts in the ground. I mean, they are like right in front of Daddy.

Mommy took this picture while standing in line with those yellow posts from the above picture. I mean, we're not even out of the van for a whole minute yet and Muffin is already hauling doxie butt back to the van.

Mommy caught right up with us and check out Muffin. Her silly little tongue is already hanging out! I tried telling Muffin to get a move on and that she can't stay a chunky monkey for the Olympics. But NO! Muffin didn't care.

With a little bit of cattle prodding, Muffin finally caught on to the program. See her here? She's leading the pack.

We came across this pretty little bridge and Muffin was even excited to check out the other side of it.

Another walking trail that was across the bridge. I think next time we're gonna take this path into the woods. Muffin was doing so good, Mommy didn't want to push her luck!

Heading back over the bridge to go home. We're walking together! Wait, what? Muffin's walking like a pawfect little lady.

This is what is known in our town as Stinky Farm. In the heat of the summer, it's P-U! We saw it from the walking trail. They have goats, lambs, sheep, cows, chickens and even llamas. They also grow a lot of cow corn and corn for the hoomans too. From our vantage point, it looked like OZ.

Go figure, on the way back to the van, Muffin wants to stop and sniff. We're all ready to head home, but nooooooo, not Muffin!

Me thinks Muffin is a tad tired here.

I have to admit, I was a bit tired also. We did walk quite a distance. But we kept pushing ourselves bcuz we were training for the Blogville Olympics. And isn't that what great athletes do?

Back home again and now it was time to start stretching my leg's to keep them limber.

Muffin though was quite happy to be home again in her BED!

This is Muffin training for our Couch Potato Peeling Event. And is she ever good at the Peeling part!

Hugs,
Lily Belle
