Thanksgiving Blessings

Today as I reflect back on my 53 years of life, I have so much to be thankful for. Way too many things to list here. So I decided to list my top 10:

~My Husband - Who put's up with soooo much!
~My Doxie's - Lily & Muffin - They are the 2nd joy's of my life!! (after my Hubby)
~My Family - OK, well most days...
~My Friends - They mean the world to me and have gotten me through the worst in my life. And for my friends on the Doxie Bulletin Board who gave me strength and hope when Lily went down.
~That I get to live in 2 beautiful homes (NY & FL). I have the best of both worlds
~That my Husband is going to retire at the end of this year. Hope that makes him a happier guy!
~For the Surgeons at Cornell Vet. Hopsital who successfully operated on Lily this year
~Fried Boars Head baloney sandwiches on Wonder Bread with Hellman's Mayo. Yummy!
~For the 49 years that I got to spend with my beloved Mother
~I'm thankful to God for giving me strength to make it through my daily life
~For my faith that allows me to believe that we all will be reunited again. Some day, some how, some place...

Lily and Muffin wanted to tell you also some of the things they are thankful for:

~Lily is VERY thankful that she is healing and is no longer in pain.
~Muffin is thankful that she can gently play with Lily once again and that her big sister is doing great!
~The big bed to sleep in with Mommy & Daddy
~For Grandpa's lap when Mommy & Daddy are away
~All the critters in our yard that we get to chase after
~Tuna fish, eggs, limburger cheese, yogurt drops and all other yummy foods we are given!
~Freeda & Abby - Our bestest friends (and those who have gone before us)
~Mommys Blog, her followers and Little Dog Marley in India. Marley and his Mommy inspired her to start blogging. Her blog helps keep her sanity and for that we're ALL thankful!
~Our 2 fabulous Aunt's and our Uncle Steve (woo-woo)
~My other Aunt's, Uncle's, Neice, Nephews, Cousin's & their pet's
~Adoptive Grandparents
~Grandma Hagen (who is waiting for us somewhere over the rainbow.) She loved us most and loved us best (that includes you too Freeda)! We're thankful for all her belly rubs, petting us for hours on end and for blowing us down kisses from Heaven. (We know that's you Grandma!)
~For Mommy & Daddy who love us unconditionally and give us the best life!

  2. We like your lists! Hope you all had a great day and got lots of great food! Lady is celebrating, but since it is not a holiday in India, I am not. Lady and I celebrated earlier and she brought me back something from her trip. India has LOTS and LOTS of other festivals though. Licks, Marley
